Primary Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervision of assembly processes.
• Ensure quality of work with safety & efficiency.
• Ensure use of correct material, processes and optimal utilization of man, machine, and materials.
• Constantly work to improve assembly processes, reduce cost & labour.
• Identify root cause of defects in assembly line and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Testing of assembled components/assemblies to ensure they are as per specifications.
• Resources scheduling to ensure production plans are achieved.
• Achieve production target.
• Maintain all necessary records for assembly processes.
• Follow all environmental, health & safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and across the paint shop.
• Communication between assembly teams & Manager.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless workflow of material for assembly and dispatch.
• Initiate Kaizen & 5S activities on shop floor.
• Keep track of inventory of input material and consumables. Coordinate with PPC for timely requisition.
